Below
are a dozen out of the 60 bonus images created in what turned out to be
40 hectic days! Can you tell by the picture and the category what is
represented? Note also that images such as the Nintendo stuff were
created from scratch and actual games or logos could not be used. The
same goes for likenesses (that isn't really Michael Jackson...)

Deaths - John Lennon
NBA
Movie Plot Twists - Blade Runner
Western Wear
TV to Movie - Star Trek
Stand-Up Comedy
My ship design inspired by the Enterprise. I had to fudge the Vulcan salute - my hands won't do it!
Both hands were mine... If you haven't seen the movie I won't give it away
Used
alot of stuff from my scifi paintings, did sketchy "almost" images of
other characters. Took out ET on the bike as it was too risky.
My old game system modeled;
I labled it "Notendo". Made up the game and game label as well
Not actually Michael Jackson of course. See my
Virtual Worlds work for the source of the marquee - and that's not quite the name of the album.
Another pain - had to avoid any copyright issues. Making up a different secret German plane was the easy part.
Referring to Aha's "Take on me" Video.
That's not how the Medal nor uniforms really looked. Really.
I was watching CNN when this happened live. Getting the pose right on the guy who stopped ithe line of tanks was tricky.
Tales from the Crypt, but with no logos and nothing actually from the show
Velcro, Post-its, Walkman, Boom boxes, Baby on Board, and Swatches.
All hand drawn.
Ground design inspired by the memorial at the spot where he was shot.
An exercise in textures. Denim is actually pretty easy to mock up at this scale
A generic looking comic. Lots of layering and lighting effects in photoshop, as usual.
Yep, all drawn from scratch.
More of an abstract graphic image. DNA fingerprinting became a big new technology in the 80s.
I instantly had the vision of a band member thorwing up his papers during a recording session and walking out the exit.
Not sure if Jazz purists consider Kenny G a jazz great, but he inspired this piece.
The
illustrations here were designed to capture the feel of a particular
topic withing a cel phone based Trivia game. Mostly these were quick
projects at low resolution, created digitally. Hand drawing, digital
photos, 3D renders, lots of photoshop filters, and creativity flew wild
to accomplish this images.
