The
Gemini Program was the first manned launch series in the U.S. Space
Program. This image depicts the March 23, 1965 launch of Gemini 3 with
it's spacecraft "The Molly Brown" carrying astronauts Virgil L. Grissom
and John W. Young. Launched from LC-19 at Cape Canaveral, Gemini 3
was the first manned Gemini flight and the 17th manned space flight
ever.
